Staying Alive
The Staying Alive physical activity program is available to all CSU faculty, staff, and student employees. The program runs for 10 weeks during the Fall and Spring semesters.
The purpose of Staying Alive is to encourage the healthy habits of regular physical activity, both for individuals and their departments. Staying Alive is a fun and easy way to help you increase your levels of physical activity and enjoy many benefits of better health.
- Engage in moderate intensity physical activity for at least 20 minutes at least 3 times a week
- Establish a baseline (week 1 minutes)
- Track your minutes and try to improve over your baseline
- Wear your pedometer.
- Establish a baseline (week 1 steps)
- Track your steps and try to improve over your baseline
